How to measure?

How to Measure? (for Custom Made Measurements)

To ensure the best fit, please take your measurements carefully and follow the instructions below. Use a soft measuring tape (cm) and measure over light clothing or underwear. The tape should sit snugly on the body, but not tight.

Important: For the most accurate results, we strongly recommend having someone else take your measurements for you.

A — Bust

Measure around the fullest part of your bust.

How to do it:

1. Stand straight, shoulders relaxed.

2. Keep the tape level all the way around your back.

3. Place the tape under your arms and across the fullest part of the bust.

4. Do not lift your arms while measuring.

Tip: Wear a bra similar to the one you plan to wear with your dress.

B — Waist

Measure around the narrowest part of your natural waist.

How to do it:

1. Stand relaxed and breathe normally.

2. Find the narrowest point between your ribs and hips (usually slightly above the belly button).

3. Keep the tape comfortably fitted—not tight.

Tip: Don’t “suck in” your stomach—this will lead to incorrect sizing.

C — Hips

Measure around the fullest part of your hips and seat.

How to do it:

1. Stand with your feet together.

2. Wrap the tape around the widest part of your hips (often includes the fullest part of the buttocks).

3. Make sure the tape stays level and doesn’t slide upward.

D — Side Length (Length Measurement)

This measurement is essential for the overall proportions and length.

How to do it:

1. Do not measure yourself. Ask someone else to measure you.

2. Stand straight in a natural posture (do not bend or look down).

3. Measure from the specified point (as shown in the diagram) down to the desired length.

4. If you bend your body even slightly while measuring, the result will be shorter than it should be, which can affect the final fit and length.

Tip: If you plan to wear heels, please mention your heel height as well.

E — Arm Circumference (If applicable)

Only needed for designs with fitted sleeves.

How to do it:

1. Measure around the widest part of your upper arm.

2. Keep your arm relaxed at your side.

3. The tape should be snug but not tight.
